This image shows the result of a steel soup can meeting one of our experimental Ajax X177 units from around 6-7 meters (about 20 feet); muzzle velocity was a bit over 400 FPS with this unit. As you see in the image, the round 0.177 caliber BB penetrates the steel can -- and as you will see in the next image, it actually penetrates both sides of the can. A stock Drozd under nominal conditions has trouble doing this at the same range, even in slow-fire single shot mode. And, this was a 1200RPM burst!
